Be a part of the Wild-er-ness
Funny, funny clip from the Finnish "forest people" folk-black-metal band, Korpiklaani. As Mr. Kurt would say "Like Enslaved - if they had a sense of humor." Except, as the Korpiklaani boys are fond of pointing out, the Vikings had this terrible proclivity for pillaging and burning the forests of Suomi in back their conquering days.
"Hunting is going on!"

Great show tomorrow
From many people.

The Diva meets the Fashionista
Some throwaway comment I made in between obsessive visits to Makeupalley.com made the Budget Fashionista's archive. Look for the big red nail polish bottle, then the first comment in tiny print. Kewl.
Voivoidesque self-promotion
Here's my review of Voivoid's new album for City Pages. It feels more like the Saints, thanks to its exuberantly rotten mood. It's the best post-punk whatever record I've heard in a while, and you'll find it in your "heavy metal" section.
The line shoulda been "it's as much as about winter warriors in a Tolkien story as Space Oddity was about stranded astronauts, which is sort of but not really". Oh, whatever, minor nitpick. Rest in peace, Piggy.

Top Ten In Norway
No, really. Satyricon's K.I.N.G. debuted at #7 there. Which probably meant all their friends bought it.
It's pretty creepy and kind of funny for a $1.99 budget. They should jot down a few notes over at MTV's Hot Topic, I mean Headbanger's Ball.
OK, so I'm going to try smaller posts, but more frequently. Sort of like the dieter's version of blogging... Wish me luck.
